Re: Beginners quad?

Update time!

I bought a Bromides KODO to start with and am having a lot of fun learning to control it in small spaces.
I ordered and received a Syma X5C-1 and it is a great beginners quad, imo!
Stable and easy to fly, even in slight breezes.

Had a practise session this morning flying forwards and backwards while maintaining as level a flight path as possible. Then left to right and then forwards and rotate to fly forwards again and also in reverse. Lots of fun!
Bought a bunch more batteries to lengthen the time away from mains power.

The X5C-1 is great but a bit slow and underpowered to fly in slight winds.
Where i live there is always a wind blowing from somewhere...
Looking into my next beginners quad just more powerful and able to handle slight winds.

I am thinking the LaTrax Alias or similar, any thoughts?
I would like to go RTF again as i am still getting set up to build my first quad and also need a LOT more practise!!
