I have a Slash 4x4, I love this truck. Its just the standard Slash 4x4, not the Ultimate. Its tough as hell. I am a pure basher, and run it hard. To date, I have only broke 1 drive axle (upgraded to metal ones now) and just recently broke a front diff. I have jumped this truck well over 10-12ft (See Pic)

I also have Pro-Line Power Stoke shocks & RPM A Arms as well. Aside from that, its pretty much stock.

I have never owned anything HPI, so I can't comment on personal experiance, but I dont know anyone around here that has one. Its pretty much all Traxxas and a few Losi trucks around here.
