I know what you mean. I purchased a Northstar kit from Great Hobbies. When I stated to build I noticed some mising pieces of balsa. The 4 trailing edges, 1/16x1x24, and the rudder post, 1/2x1/4x5 were nowhere to be found. I called Balsa USA and they said no prb. They were in the mail NO CHARGE. Well Customs read the labelling on the box that said replacement/missing pieces Value ZERO dollars, then they decided that the parts must be worth $25 and charged me taxes on the 25 plus a handling fee of $5. The total was $6 and change for something that was worth $.35 and had already been taxed when Great Hobbies imported the kit and sold it to me.
