depend on how much room and how much you can afford to crash. i love my 500 but its a hotrod with a 2825 rpm head speed i love my 600 because of how smooth and stable the bigger heli is. one of the guys i fly with has a 550 and he killed it on his maiden because it was way faster than he was ready for. he rebuilding it and stretching it to a 600. but i think you will be happy with either one, or just buy both, it will happen eventually.
