the best bet for that size of truck is sticking with a small block engine because you need is RPM and not power so the biggest small block is a .18 of any make then gearing is everything. find the biggest clutch bell and the smallest spur gear that will mesh then last but not least find a tall tire rim combo and hold on. for example i had a rc18t brushless that would go over 70mph with a radar gun.try this and let us know how it worked .
