e-buggy is newer and has a few fast guys of its own who are either new to nitro or who don't run it at all. The number of participants is less than 1/4 of nitro buggy at most events, and even smaller sometimes (therefore the spread on the mains is larger than in nitro)

We had almost the same number of brushless and nitro buggies this weekend here (13 BL and 15 Nitro) but only 3 people ran both classes of buggy.
I think that you will see BL take off more and more for awhile then I think it will settle back down a little bit and they will stay fairly balanced.
As Gump suggested I think that you will see a lot of cross class cross overs. ie. Nitro Truggy and BL Buggy or Nitro Truggy and BL Buggy. To me though it only makes sense to run the same class for both... only 1 set of spare parts, 1 size of tires, they drive closer to each other etc... I went that way because it is easier on me than trying to run another nitro class... I miss truggy but man do I LOVE brushless buggy!!
