The battery is not failing. It has failed. This is why you keep losing your settings.

If you're not comfortable opening up the transmitter and replacing the small lithium battery, best bet is to send it to Horizon Hobbies for service.

If the radio is still under warrenty, definately send it in for service.

Otherwise, open the transmitter, making a note of what screws you removed go where. Find the battery, it should be the size of a loonie. Make a note of which way it is installed (positive or negative side showing.) If it is removable, remove it and trundle off to Radio Shack with it to find a replacement. Once you have the replacment, put it back in the same way it was, close up the transmitter and reset your settings.
