If you took it as a complaint about rising prices you are wrong.

What the oil companies do that ticks me off is to raise the price BEFORE they sell of the current stock! When I started in the hobby about 50 years ago things on shelves had prices marked on them and as the newer more expensive stuff came in people bought off the old stock if they could afford it.

Now they just tickle the computer keys and the price goes up regardless of what price it was or when it arrived in the store. If it's only a small increase who cares. If it is a ridiculous increase then I just don't buy it unless I really need it.

You are right about the dollar falling. That is when you will see the cost start to really rise. That's life.
