Re: What is happening to IMAC in Canada?

You're right guys, I have 100% Irish blood in me and it warms up at times.

One thing that we have seen work here in Sudbury, which I may have mentioned previously, was a mini indoor contest last winter. We stopped our regular indoor foamie carnage for an hour or so each week and practiced the sequence (we all flew the same one). We had a contest day (complete with the score software and K values) and had 10 pilots try it. Out of the 10, we had 3 or 4 who were new to this, that stated that they were very interested in more of this and IMAC. The plan is for 3 contests next year and the Soo guys are interested in attending. At least two of them will be flying at the NOIC this summer.

Way to Gaston for not only setting this up but winning the first ever contest.

Low key, and a lot of fun and a simple way to introduce and promote areobatic flying.

Brendan
