Hi Twistedge, Thanks for the reply. here is the info as required :The battery pack connected to the rx is a regular 6 volt (4 1.5 v). The main batteries used to power the motors are 7.2v NIMH 4200mah from duratrax.
The receiver is a Tactic TTX404 2.4 GHZ.
I am connecting the esc to the motors first. I connect the small battery pack to the receiver and I connect the 4200 battery pack at last. Remember that the esc has an integrated bec.
The model number of the esc: there is none on the esc which is from China, bought on the internet, received as is with no package, no instructions etc. I paid approx 20$ for this item which may be the problem....but two in a row fried ???
The two small motors are using a separate esc, the same as for the back motors, but this one is still ok....and everything is brushed.
