i actually find it insulting to say because i build/fly mainly ARF's due to time restrictions that i'm not truly dedicated to this hobby.
I've built 3-4 kits, nothing of the 28% and up but just because im supporting my family but still want to enjoy the thrill of rc flying. I enjoy repairing, but as was said earlier even kits are just more complicated arfs.
I respect someone flying an ARF as much as someone flying scratch built/kits. We are all involved and inlove with this hobby because it's fun to fly. I enjoy meeting new people all the time.
To end my rant, just because i or the next guy buys a ARF P-51 mustang doesn't mean he/she isn't as in love with the hobby and it's all about the
FUN of flying
And your damn right i buy a nice park flyer to head to the park on lunch breaks and short times i get free and fly because i get withdrawals from not being able to fly
