What are you afriad of?

If it survives the scrutiny then it must have some merit.
Wouldn't you prefer to know the shortcomings of the only think linking you to your plane/heli in the air?

2.4Ghz is still in it's infancy. Once the radio manufacturers open their minds a little and step out of the box, you will see some real improvements start coming out.
