Make sure you have lots of throw otherwise you'll have trouble setting a proper throttle curve in your radio (if you can). Gas engines have a non linear response which you'll quickly find out if you have a short throw and no curve!

That's the reason, why we need a good computerized TX.
Throttle curve ( At least 5 point ) is the best function for gas engines.
