Motor?.... Well, going through my "Motor" drawer, I came across a 10 grm motor, an 1811-20, rated at 2000KV, 50Watt.... Recommended prop on a two cell is 7/3.5 SF of whiich I have a few...... 10 Amp ESC, again, got lots of these, so, am gonna give this setup a try first... Recommended for models in the 3 to 7oz range... So far, I'm not over 4 oz so, it should haul it.....
Markings? I used the Craft paint, Acrylic water base, and did a (lousey) job of doing wing and stab markings, but what the heck, had to have something different.. Didn't add any weight to speak of, after the water evaporated...
Has anybody else tried a motor of this range yet??
Hey Gaston, n Ray, you guys have got a real winner here..... Spreading the word around our club members, LOUDLY!
Looks good Art, the small motor you're planning on using might not give you
3D performance but could be fine for flying around and have fun, let us know how it performs, it's certainly lighter.
