Putting an RC car on a stand will not harm the suspension.
If my car is going to sit for a long time, I even unscrew the preloaders so that there is zero compression on the springs. Springs do sag over time when they are under compression. Be it 1/10 or 1/1.
If I can make it last longer on the RC, its all good to me.
