Sorry to disappoint Jim!!!! My take on big planes: if your worried about having to replace a plane, its too expensive for you to fly. This winters project was a 50cc bipe that I got a killer deal on.

I don't fly liquid fueled planes in the snow any more. Built a couple Dollar Tree foam board planes of my own design. My wife believes they are good therapy, she sees the joy of stress free flying on my face every time I return from a flight. Was thinking on one flight "if I modified this and that on this thing, it would be cool to compete in IMAC with it". A 7 dollar plane, hmmmm, they've always said it isn't the plane that wins contest, it the pilots abilities!

Won't be farming my own dirt any more, was put out to pasture!!!!
