Well I just got back from this. Lots of rain, but we flew between drops
My only complaint (which is entirely my fault) was that it was a little tough going to a social event and not being able to really socialize a lot (lack of Francais
).
Other than that, I had a great time. Watching the 3d guys was a hoot! (ie: Colin Bell). Man it's fun watching that dude fly.
And a big shout out to the event organizer and his lovely wife (sorry, I can't recall your name now). They had a bunch of us out of towners over for dinner (which was great btw!). Hospitality was great. Good company made an otherwise dreary/rainy day a great one! Hanging with the guys was one of the highlights of my trip.
And nice to put some faces to the names around here. Good to meet you MarkToo! Stand up guy!
Thanks to all for showing me a great time. And to Phil for putting up with me in a common hotel room!
I'm definitely down to go again next year!
