Yes, it is FM and PCM capable and will fly any current Futaba and other negative shift 72Mhz Rx's (assuming it has a 72Mhz module).
It's strong point is that it is modular and will accept all of the modules a 9C will.
However, a new TM-7 FASST module runs about $145. Add a FASST Rx and you're in the same ball park as a brand new 6EX 2.4Ghz with FASST Rx ($220) or a DX6 with Rx ($210).

good to know the pricing on that unit, its all about the dollars isn't it and the 2.4 shines in light of the info you all have provided, going to have to shop around when i get a moment from work, thanks
