So tell me "not so fair weather flyer", does a 3 second roll cover as much ground upwind as down? Does it require the same aileron deflection? Answering those two questions would be a better use of your time on this subject...
Its a pointless discussion so why refute pointless points.....the upwind or downwind roll will last as long as I wish it to...and will happen as fast as I wish it to. I dont care what aileron deflection I use....I use as much as is required to acheive what I want.

The best use of my time on this subject is probably the choice to spend none at all on it.
