If you have a good caller / coach, you won't be there too long. Believe me, I'm hooked and only after one contest (part of one), I'm already planning to move up next year. I have two coaches that have very critical eyes and a lot of experience. Once you start to see good results, your confidence will grow quickly. For me, the "new challenge and goal" factor has already set in. I just have to convince my better half why I really do need that bigger plane.

Welcome to the 'Family', and practice until the sun sets, the bugs swarm, or the wind Gods decide to tell you it is time to go home. Lots of sim time helps as well.
