chad, because of the stability of a truggy you should be ok on the smooth tracks,i have run the fioroni and nouvo foar torsen diffs in the past in buggies and yes they hit very hard, i never found them to be faster than std diffs on north american tracks that get bumpy so i always went back to std diffs
then kyosho came out with their own version that grabbed softer more like the losi design and they were much more driveable
now losi may have finaly figured these things out, from what i have heard from some losi teamates testing them down in the u.s. they are helping laptimes by .5 seconds and making the cars easier to drive
