Re: New Transport Canada UAS/Drone Guidelines
I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet Scott. It will. CBC Radio interviewed a Commercial Pilot from BC the other day. He reported having a quadcopter cross in front of his aircraft, within 10 meters, while taxiing in at Kamloops. Way too many close calls, it's only a matter of time. Our HERON UAV damn near collided with a Gulfstream Jet, (their screw-up, our airspace, not theirs), and the Aussies piled one into the power lines over the Trans-Canada coming in to land in Suffield, a few years ago.
It's pure dumb luck I think that we haven't had a fatality yet.
