Should be ready for a test flight soon. The plywood servo holders could have been a bit bigger, it is hard to find servos that small that are strong enough. There are lots only 1mm larger than the cutout. I may just push better ones into the foam and run some extra glue around the top edge.
I put the CF floor scratcher to better use as a rudder stiffener, and plan to use 2" open frame wheels. Only 2g more and it should be able to land on the grass with no problems.
The center of the top winglet looks like a good spot for some velcro to mount a "liter" camera, for some video.
The motor specs say it will give 470g of thrust, so I hope it will be ok. The polyurethane glue on the back of the motor mount worked well and is as strong as nails.
Well lets see if I can find the 3mm prop savers.........
