I guess I've spoiled myself.
Whenever I've been stuck with an engine like this (no or worthless warranty?) I either pitched it or sell it to one of those "collectors". :P
Seriously, life's too short to spend time on the ground fiddling with a balky engine or risk the plane to the same P.O.S. especially when I've already taken great pains to keep an airframe light, I
don't want to add an onboard glow to make up for poor engineering or QC of some knock-off company (e.g. the TT.36 that came with my raptor heli, luckily an OS 6b carb cured it or it would have been traded for some balsa...)
I guess my frustration level is low for engines that won't perform reliably ... wanna buy the Syclone .38 ignition gasser in my Tigermoth?
