Can't tell you how it flies yet but it sure is eye candy. I bought the one in military livery and just love to look at it hanging on the ceiling.

I also have a Super Skybolt bought used and was told that it flies very well. The previous owner apparently even flew it with the lower wing only!

Judging by sim performance my (inexperienced) take is that the Skybolt will challenge you more by having more aerobatic capability but if you want to putt around then the Stearman is just the ticket. Thinking of putting it on floats sometime for the heck of it too.
