I wear glasses but just ordered snap on yellow lenses to improve visibility on cloudy days. I find that on cloudy days the heli is much less visible no matter the color of the canopy.
What I really find helpful are bicycle blinky lights that I attach to the struts holding the skids. They do make a difference... Just glancing at either white or red light helps me figure out which way the heli is heading especially when flying at a distance and doing high speed, inverted, or complex maneuvers.
