Well its almost ready to fly just need some warm weather HaHa Ha.Thanks for everyones imput and if I didn't use an idea you mentioned, don't be upset and not post anymore. I try and weigh all the pros and cons and use what I deem at the time as the best for a particular application. I went velcro fastening for the battery but the velcro was fastened under the body not just glued to it. I also used a large velcro pad to stop battery from moving at all it would probably be sufficient on its own without the go around the battery.In this case I believe more is better.The design of this fuse allows some covering to be removed and place a light weight piece of ply with holes in it just in case to stop mice or crickets from getting in (hey just kidding)I have glassed up the cowl and give it a quick mud job and a spray bomb will finish the cowl in the spring when its warmer
