Plus I would bet the numbers are based on either the designers themselves or individuals who built that type of kit for testing. For example most SIG fuses are similar so if you've built 10 others, you'll have some tricks to shave time etc etc.

Or maybe we're too meticulous and want to build it right??

I take my time on most so that I can truley enjoy the build.
