Bloody April Update

Hi All,

Weather is looking good for Sat 9th. Sunny and 13degC.
Some showers on Thusday but dry the rest of the week...
Keep your fingers crossed ! ! ! We want light winds too !

The field looked good a week ago. Just the 'usual' low spots that were wet.
The 'Ravine from Hell' will be wet but will be easy hunting because of lack of foliage...Bring your boots ! An old carmat to kneel on might come in handy in the pits.
I'll check the field Thurs after work, on my way to HobbyHobby to pick up some props I ordered.(APC 10-3s and MA10-4s)

The 1st-3rd/Best Scale large draft glasses worked out well. A nice logo acid etched in. Big thanks to my buddy Mike from Morningsign and Trafalgar Ales and Meads...

It'll be Bring your oun Lunch. (I'd rather fly than cook hotdogs !)

If you can bring your own clipboard and a spare helmet that will be great.

The should be some OMFC members coming out to watch. If any want to fly we can take a break in between rounds...

My Spad is lookin good. Just got to cycle the battery and check everything twice...I can't wait ! ! !

I plan on opening the field at 8AM. We can start engines at 9AM and get a bunch of test flights in till everyone is ready. (I need some rudder stick practice, it's been awhile !)

Bloody April is going to be a FUN day, recreating WW1 fighter combat.

Will be great to see everyone again.

Take care,
Have fun,
