The whole issue of resolution is now a moot point with today's awesome servos.

The only disadvantages I see are:
1) They are so precise with 0 stiction, so they really bring to light a bad servo!
2) You've gotta take your time to set up the boxes / hinges / horns properly to prevent binding or you'll hate them.
3) Changing out your servos is hateful, because you have to break the hinge-gap sealing job, pull out the hinge-pins before you can get at your servos.

The negatives are there for sure, ask me how I know Had to do it twice.
But the installation of the Durant sytem is so simple and easy compared to haveing to measure, map and install hardpoints etc....
It far out weighs the negatives
