Re: My A10 Scratch Build 1/7 EDF

Hello,

I started this plane a year ago from some plans and a pile of wood. I have only been working on it here and there over the year so far maybe a couple hundred hours. Its a scratch build so I have made some mistakes not to big and sometimes have to redo some parts then continue on. I will probably pick up my pace somewhat more as it is now winter.

The plans are 1/7 scale George Miller A10 plans except I chose to make my wing in two pieces along with a wing tube that will go thru the fuse. Looking for a proper wing tube to use that is about 1.5 inches or 38-40mm OD, about 600mm long. I am in Canada and dont know where I can go to check out some carbon fiber tubes. I may yet go with a aircraft grade aluminim tube.
