Re: Anemometer at Princess Auto

Is there any real advantage to having an anemometer?

Doe anyone really say "oh, its 12 mph, so I can fly" or "Whoops, its 13 mph, better go home"? No. You just know by feel. I have yet to see anyone really use this as a "tool"

All you have to do is "feel" the wind to know whether or not you particular model will fly in any given wind.

Other than being an interesting gadget to play with for a little while, most just gather dust after being played with for a few weeks and the novelty wears off.
