Re: Flying a model airplane at an airport, or airshow?
When you are flying an R/C aircraft, one of the main things that you do is watch out for other A/C, be it full size or model. The biggest pain in the butt is one of those 3D A/C hovering over the runway and over the maneouver area for five minutes. It is clear that one of those two A/C were not suppose to be over the runway at that time. The guy in the full size A/C had his hands full making the low pass. There were lots of people on or near the runway and he was too low. The full size A/C would have never even seen the model until he was right on top of it. The responsibility lands on the R/C flyer and his spotter to ensure safety.
