I am seriously and sincerely hoping that you did not present the engine as described in the pic to those vice jaws and that you placed a suitable media on each jaw. The use of a Vice as a press is a method to be used with extreme caution. Hopefully your dilemma is now history and your power unit is restored to useful life.
