I had my ZDZ 160 RV-J, headers and cans. After finishing Lorne's 126" Slick, I started on my Sukhoi. That is when I realized the header drop was wrong. Being set-up for a DA150, which I had in a 38% Extra. I opted to not take the DA150 out, but buy the 176 new. It was less than 3 weeks until Huckfest (Flying Giants). I enjoyed the GP176. All that have watched it fly will attest, it is a great combination.
This winter I wanted to install my ZDZ 160 into my Sukhoi, to evaluate it, and enjoy it. But some trading, found me out of an Ultimate in Winnipeg. Phil, and I worked a deal to get me into his 46% Ultimate, him into a Sukhoi. The cash ordered a new Sukhoi for my ZDZ 160, which I now have the headers for, to install my RE3's.
Long story, but a bunch of happy pilots out west here.
