Thanks for all your suggestions.
The firewall has decided for me. While
I was checking it out, again, trying to decide
which way to go. I tapped it with a small hammer,
well maybe a little harder. Anyway, it came out, nice
and neat

. Now, the best is to make a new firewall,
install and rebuild.

Bye the way, this plane is an old Vector design, a
real nice sport plane. Does all the pattern real sweet.
