this is an interesting thread....been looking into this for a while, and comments are bang on....I do the single, twins, and Heli aerial photography....the full size aircrafts, and around here, the market is not big enough to go through the entire process, so I opted to deal with low flight permits at 475.00 each flight using a bolt on gyro (7,000.00) and heavy duty camera gear....at 1,000' and 135 mph, I can get a license plate # on a parked car.......and don't have to deal with insurance issues using CHARTER PILOT........registered aircraft for commercial applications. Until the population grow to over 1 million, I will continue to use this method......but it would be fun to have alternatives.............
