Doug, I was packing it from the cargo trailer to take inside. I had it on its side and my deck is about 2 feet of the ground....yup...drove the one elevator right into the deck snapping every hinge off in the stab. amazingly it only chipped the paint on the bottom of the elevator. Everything else is like nothing happened. The material the hinges and horns are made do not take well to a side force as you likely know.
I just checked it and it's better than new Doug.
