I made a boo boo while covering the the fin so had to remove some of the original covering. Gave me a good look at the engineering that went into this plane.



Interlocking sheeting! Wow!





Here is the side I didn't mess up. Have to learn to stretch Monokote tighter while sealing down.

One of the other colours I am using is Metallic Platinum Grey.

Here is the front half of the fuse.

And now the whole fuse.

Here is the top of the horizontal stab/elevator. I used Metallic Teal as the third colour.

I went with a slightly different checkerboard effect on the bottom of the stabs. I turned everything 45 degrees and went with a diamond pattern. Yes those are individual squares, you can't get a Metallic Teal checkerboard pattern.

Here is the underside of one of the wing panels. Still individual handcut 2" squares. What a job that was!
