I use polyester dress lining material and dope on most of my models. Last year I took a pattern ship that I had not flown since the mid 70's to the field, and no one would believe it was 34 years old. I buy my dope from Leavens Bros. Randolph publish an excellent dope application manual for full scale aircraft which is mostly applicable to model covering and doping.
