Hi Paul,

You have a 'Classic' Canadian seaplane ! I agree totally with Cecil and his history/knowledge.
I'll add what I know:
- I wanted to buy one at the 'Toronto Hobby Show' back in the early 80's. Back when it was 'Toledo North' !
-designed for a 'then' .60 swinging a 12-6 prop. (average .40 today has more power !)
-the hull shape is for choppy/wave conditions. I swear it was designed for East Coast salt water ! Which makes it a Sea Plane !

'Vee' hulls may not take off sooner, but they land so much better !

Get a nice sharp 'step' on anything that floats. Get your CG above it and add power !
