A while down the road, you might want to push out further. At that time you can use your accumulated experiecnes to decide on the best setup to do that for you.
For now, the stock Spektrum is perfectly adequate without any enhancements.
It's complicated enough as it is, don't make it more difficult than it needs to be.
Have fun, not frustration. Cummulative, incremental successes.
