DETAILS FOR FABRIC COVERED AIRCRAFT

I have a 1/3 pitts I'm refurbishing. I've been thinking about several details which will add realism. didn't know if anyone had a better idea than these:

1: found 2 part epoxy to be quite flexable so I'm planning to use it as a mouling agent for:

A: rib rivets under the fabric.
I was planning to imbed a dozen little screws or pinheads into the edge of a disk and run it across some flattened plastecine. mix and pour the epoxy into the form. let harden and remove. (there is also a plastic type material they make kids removable stained glass paint from...?)

b: inspection panels.

c: probabily some fairings as well...
