This is a very good thread. If you realy want true scale then you have to get the drawings form our dear departed friend Bob Nelitz. This is the true level of a scale Cub.
The BUSA Cub looks great and most people don't know is isn't scale. However I did make the nose of mine a little wider to accomodate the fiberclass cowl. Sig Cover All is my choice and the pinking tape is available at Wal-Mart. They call it medical tape with a jaged edge. It is cloth and even has an adhesive on the back. Works very great. The wings bolt onto the fusalage center section. It took me 18-20 hrs to frame up each wing with flaps added. Yes it is a lot of enjoyable effort. The servos can go behind the back seat and are easily consealed and still accessable. I hope to have mine flying later this year as I have not had the time this past winter as I did the previous one.
