Ya Dan... the stuff from CTC is too low a temp if memory serves me correctly! I think that stuff can be applied with a propane torch. The good stuff with high silver content needs MAP gas (yellow bottle) to melt.

I'm not sure what Jeff carries at Thunderbolt... personal preference, but I've tried the KS sticks with flux on the rod and didn't like it as much as the bottle of flux I got at a local welding shop that you put on with your finger. Keep in mind, that I'm an amateur solderer, LOL, so it is likely more about user ability/error than the flux
