F-18 nose weight attachment...

I have a Starmax F-18, which flies great until my latest flight. The trim started going all over, so I landed it. When I landed it I found something was rolling around inside. This happened to be the nose weight, in the second pic. In the first pic is the pocket of hot glue that used to hold the weight. What would be the best, most permanent, way of re-attaching this weight? Not sure if CA glue would hold metal or attach to the hot glue? Would epoxy or something else work better? Thanks for any suggestions.

Thanks,

Tom
