I agree 100% I always leave some gas in my plane .on long storage I will drain it (longer than 2 years )but the carb will need rebuilding if left dry for long ,Roger

Ps :fuel can also flash off after long periods in the heat ,this can gum up the carb ,I think if this is happening you are not taking advantage of the good weather and you need to give your plane to me LOL
