The new KK2 board looks like it's much easier to setup (has LCD screen/buttons to do it without a computer), and is Gyro only. A lot of people are saying good things about it. For less than $30 that'd likely be my pick now for an acro multi. That said I'd probably still look at all the new multiwii's on the market too.
