Hi,

Thanks for the article. I noticed the article is for the 535, I'm assuming it is the same for the 555.

The 535 shows pins 11 and 14 normally joined, whereas the RCD diagram shows pin 14 grounded and pin 11 open.

I'll have to pull my 555 out of a plane to check, but before I did, I thought you might know if the 555 has pins 11 and 14 joined (as the 535) or not. If the 555 does have the pins joined, it would appear you would have to cut the run between the two and ground pin 14 before adding the wiring for the extra channels 7 (pin 11) & 8 (pin 2).
