Just checked my plans for my 8' Beaver and they show the CG at 1/4" behind the main bottom spar.
You are going to love this plane, I love mine. I hope you are proficient in rudder use, if not you will have to learn quickly. This plane must be flown with proper rudder use. Have you covered your model yet?
